De Menos Crime

Their original lineup consisted of Marcelo Pereira (Lerap), Ricardo Ferreira (Mago Abelha), and Mikimba (Jeferson Damasceno). Over the years, De Menos Crime has gained widespread recognition for their raw and streetwise lyrics. One of their early successes was the album *São Mateus Pra Vida*, released in 1998, which sold around 150,000 copies and featured the hit track "Fogo na Bomba." The group's discography includes notable albums like *Na Sua Mais Perfeita Ignorância* (1995), *Rap das Quebradas* (2001), and *O Revertério* (2005).

More recently, De Menos Crime has continued to release new music, collaborating with other artists on tracks like "100% Negro," "Normal e Natural," and "Os Guerreiros Estão de Pé," showcasing their enduring influence in Brazilian hip-hop. Their music often reflects the vibrant and sometimes challenging realities of their neighborhood, providing a voice for the community through their unique blend of hip-hop and gangsta rap.
