Havana NRG

Havana NRG! is a dynamic Latin and salsa band based in Texas, known for bringing the energetic sounds of Cuba and Latin America to stages across the U.S. The group was established in 2002 in Dallas by a collection of seasoned musicians, several of whom were born in Cuba and have deep roots in the music of their homeland. Over the past two decades, Havana NRG! has built a reputation as one of the strongest Latin orchestras in Texas, serving as the house band at Gloria’s Restaurant in Addison since August 2002 and performing in major venues nationwide.

The band’s lineup features talented artists who excel on trumpet, trombone, saxophone, flute, percussion, bass, and vocals, resulting in an electrifying live show packed with salsa, merengue, and a fusion of other Latin rhythms. Havana NRG! has released two popular original albums—"Camino al Cielo" (2003/2004) and "Receta Perfecta" (2009)—as well as recent singles like "Ladies Night," "24k Magic," and "I Ain't Your Momma," which showcase their ability to blend classic Latin grooves with fresh, contemporary flair. Their music consistently draws crowds eager to dance and celebrate, making them a staple of the Texas Latin music scene.
