La Grande Écurie et la Chambre du Roy is a French period instrument ensemble founded in 1985 by Jean-Claude Malgoire. The ensemble specializes in Baroque and Classical music, and has performed and recorded extensively throughout the world. The group's name refers to the two musical ensembles that served the French royal court during the 17th and 18th centuries: the Grande Écurie (literally "Great Stable"), which provided music for outdoor events, and the Chambre du Roy (literally "King's Chamber"), which provided music for indoor events.
