Polar Dust

Polar Dust is a band originally formed in Reykjavik, Iceland by Sara “X” Eksteen. The band made its debut at the Lung-A festival in Iceland but eventually moved back to South Africa in 2010, where it was reformed with a new lineup. Their music blends elements of alternative rock, darkwave, and electronic rock influences, creating a unique sound distinct from their South African roots. The band's music often reflects the atmospheric and moody landscapes reminiscent of Iceland, where the project was first conceived.
