Jochem Hamerling is a renowned Dutch DJ and producer, born on March 17, 1986, into a musically inclined family. His journey into music began with the piano and later included instruments like the saxophone and synthesizers. At age 17, Jochem moved to Chicago, where he was deeply inspired by the city's vibrant house music scene, particularly by legends such as Derrick Carter and Paul Johnson. This exposure sparked his passion for dance music, leading him to pursue a career in DJing and music production upon returning to the Netherlands.

Hamerling quickly established himself in the local club scene and secured releases on prestigious labels like Armada, Flamingo Records, and Spinnin’ Records.
