Suchmos

Suchmos is a Japanese band hailing from Kanagawa Prefecture, known for their blend of rock, jazz, and hip-hop elements, forming a unique style often described as "jazz-influenced rock" or "neo-soul." The band was formed in 2013 and named after Louis Armstrong, whom they affectionately refer to as "Satchmo." The band consists of YONCE (vocals), HSU (bass), TAIKING (guitar), OK (saxophone), KCEE (drums), and TAIHEI (keyboard).

While reaching critical and commercial success in Japan, Suchmos has steadily built an international following with their sophisticated sound and polished production. They burst onto the music scene with their debut album "THE BAY," and their song "STAY TUNE" became a huge hit. Over the years, they've continued to challenge and evolve their sound through albums like "THE ASHTRAY" and "THE ANYMAL" and tracks like "808" and "In The Zoo." The band's notable release "Suchmos THE LIVE YOKOHAMA STADIUM 2019.09.08" showcases their impressive live performance abilities.
