Vaya Con Dios

Vaya Con Dios is a Belgian music act best known for its unique blend of jazz, Latin, blues, and gypsy influences. Formed in 1986, the group was founded by singer Dani Klein along with Dirk Schoufs and Willy Lambregt. Their sound stood out for its sophisticated arrangements and Dani’s distinctive, emotionally rich vocals. The band achieved international success in the late '80s and early '90s with hits like “Just a Friend of Mine,” “Nah Neh Nah,” and “What’s a Woman?”, the latter of which became a chart-topper in several European countries.

Over the years, Vaya Con Dios went through various line-up changes, with Dani Klein remaining the constant driving force behind the project. After disbanding in the mid-1990s, Klein brought the band back in the 2000s for new recordings and tours. Known for their atmospheric sound and introspective lyrics, Vaya Con Dios has maintained a loyal fan base and left a lasting mark on European pop and jazz fusion music.
