Pusha T

Pusha T, born Terrence LeVarr Thornton on May 13, 1977, is an acclaimed American rapper and record executive known for his sharp lyricism and vivid storytelling often centered around drug trafficking and street life. He initially gained major recognition as one-half of the hip hop duo Clipse, alongside his brother No Malice (formerly Malice). Clipse rode the wave of success in the early 2000s with hits like "Grindin'" and "When the Last Time," under the tutelage of fellow Virginians, The Neptunes.

Embarking on a solo career, Pusha T cemented his reputation as a crafty and respected emcee within the hip hop community. He has since released several critically acclaimed albums, including "My Name Is My Name" and "Daytona," the latter earning a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album. His intricate wordplay and consistent delivery of gritty, unapologetic verses have kept him at the forefront of the genre. In 2022, Pusha T deepened his discography with the release of "It's Almost Dry," an album that once again put his lyrical prowess on full display, with production helmed by two of music's most influential figures: Pharrell Williams and Kanye West. "It's Almost Dry" showcases his versatility with tracks like "Mr. Put That Shit On" and collaborations that continue to underscore his influential role in the evolution of hip-hop.
