Biomechanical

Biomechanical was a British progressive thrash metal band that cranked out ambitious, sci-fi-inspired chaos in the 2000s. Founded by vocalist/guitarist John K (John Kevill), the group blended technical riffage, operatic vocals, and dystopian storytelling across albums like *The Empires of the Worlds* (2003) and *Cannibalised* (2006). Their sound felt like a wild collision between Fear Factory's industrial edge and Dream Theater's prog complexity, with lyrics often exploring cyborg rebellions and apocalyptic futures. While they've been inactive since the late 2000s, their cult following keeps their music alive, and recent redux versions of their earlier work have introduced their boundary-pushing metal to new audiences. Fun fact: John K later frontened the thrash band Warbringer, proving his vocal cords are made of pure adamantium.
