His passion for percussion began early, inspired by watching his father practice drums and encouraged by his mother to pursue music through middle and high school. After graduating, Jorge honed his skills playing congas with local bands for over a decade before joining the highly influential Grammy-nominated Tejano/Norteño band Grupo Siggno. With Grupo Siggno, he has celebrated multiple Texas Tejano Music Awards, including Best Tejano Band and Best Album, and enjoyed chart success with their song "Yo Te Esperaré," which topped Billboard Latin charts for two weeks. Jorge has also gained exposure through appearances on major TV shows in Mexico and the U.S., showcasing his vibrant percussion style.
