Valkenrag

Valkenrag is a Polish metal band that started in 2006 as a studio project by Lorgath and Jorgh before evolving into a full live band by 2013. Their sound blends melodic death metal with black metal influences, deeply inspired by pagan traditions, especially Slavic and Norse mythology. Over the years, Valkenrag has released notable works including the demo *Chasing the Gods*, full-length albums *Nord Wind* (self-titled EP), *Twilight of Blood and Flesh* (2018), and their latest EP *Fury Untamed* in 2025. This recent EP explores themes of chaos, identity, vengeance, and heritage with a raw, powerful energy, drawing symbolic inspiration from Norse myths like the tale of Fenrir.

The band features Lorgath on guitar and vocals, Bolson on guitar, Ulfar on bass, and Wosek on drums. Their music often carries a mix of mythological reflection and personal struggle, making them a prominent act in Poland’s metal scene. Valkenrag is currently working on new material, continuing their blend of fierce storytelling and intense metal.
