"The Voice Kids - Germany" is a German reality singing competition television series based on the Dutch series of the same name. It is part of the international The Voice franchise. The series premiered on Sat.1 on September 10, 2013. The show features young singers between the ages of 8 and 14 competing for a recording contract. The series has been a huge success in Germany, with over 3 million viewers tuning in to watch the first season. The show has also been nominated for several awards, including the German Television Award for Best Entertainment Show.
