Nuno Cintrão

Nuno Cintrão is a versatile Portuguese guitarist, composer, and multidisciplinary artist known for his innovative approach to music and sound experimentation. Born in Lisbon in 1980, he is deeply engaged in creating sound objects and composing original scores, having contributed over 50 soundtracks for dance and theater. Cintrão's music blends genres such as rock, jazz, and traditional Portuguese sounds, reflecting a rich and dynamic palette. He has collaborated extensively, notably forming the duo Combinatorium with guitarist José Peixoto; together they released the album *Fragmentos Imaginários* (2023) and recently paid tribute to the legendary Portuguese guitar master Carlos Paredes with *Visita: Diálogos com Carlos Paredes* (2025).

Beyond recording, Nuno Cintrão is an active presence in cultural venues and festivals both in Portugal and internationally, performing in renowned theaters, auditoriums, and events across Europe, Brazil, Macau, and Cape Verde.
