The Arturos are a punk rock band formed in late 2016 by vocalist/guitarist Rob Garry as a solo studio-based project. Named in honor of Arturo Vega, the designer behind the iconic Ramones Presidential Seal logo, the band serves as an outlet for Garry's punk rock riffs that didn't fit into his previous musical endeavors. Initially intended to write and record an EP's worth of material for friends and fellow musicians, The Arturos gained positive feedback and eventually transitioned into a live band. In 2020, they released their debut album, "Tokyo-A-Go-Go!". Their music style is reminiscent of classic punk influences, reflecting a raw and energetic sound.
Some of their notable releases include "Mondo Arturo," "Zero to Hero," "I Saw A UFO," "Blackout," "Morticia," and "The Arturos EP." The band's evolution from a solo project to a live act has been marked by their engaging performances and catchy punk rock melodies.
