Becerus is an Italian death metal band known for their brutal and humorous approach to the genre. They are essentially a side project, consisting of two scene veterans and an anonymous member. Their debut album, "Homo Homini Brutus," released via Everlasting Spew Records, embodies this style, paying homage to 90s death metal while maintaining a tongue-in-cheek humor. Key members include guitarist/bassist Giorgio Trombino, known for his work in other bands like Assumption, and vocalist Mario Musumeci, who has been part of the deathgrind band Balatonizer since the late 90s.
