Source Decay

Source Decay is a sound artist and composer known for creating ambient soundscapes that incorporate samples, electronic, and field-recorded audio. They are the resident composer for Awesome Black, contributing music to projects like *Broriginals*, *Trash Tiddas*, *Yarn Quest*, *Fear of a Blak Planet*, and *The Awesome Black Summer Playlist*. Source Decay's musical journey began early, with guitar lessons starting at age six and experimenting with electronic music at twelve using Fruity Loops. Their compositions span various mediums, including dance, theatre, film, and art installations. Currently, Source Decay is working on experimental albums that blend different genres of music. Their style often features ambient compositions punctuated by driving percussive moments.
