Tango Machina

Tango Machina is a hard rock band based in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Formed in 2008 by singer/guitarist Paul Caffrey and bassist Damion DeStefano, the group initially aimed to create quality hard rock music in an era where the genre had become homogenized. They were later joined by drummer Jesse Comerford, establishing themselves as a power trio in the local music scene. Tango Machina has shared the stage with notable acts like CKY, The Giraffes, and Crobot. Their discography includes a self-titled EP released in 2012 and the sophomore EP "Tongues of Animals," released in 2022.

Following Jesse Comerford's departure in 2020, the band experienced a period of lineup changes before stabilizing in 2024 with Tim Norris on guitar and Quinn English on drums. This new configuration has positioned Tango Machina for a promising future, blending aggressive rock 'n' roll with elements of riff rock and stoner rock. Their music is characterized by high-energy performances that encourage audience participation, often leading to moshing and a lively atmosphere. With their unique blend of styles and energetic live shows, Tango Machina continues to make a mark in the New Jersey music scene.
