Communions

Communions are a Danish post-punk and indie rock band that emanated from the bustling underground scene of Copenhagen. The band was formed by brothers Martin and Mads Rehof, along with high school friends Jacob van Deurs Formann and Frederik Lind Köppen. They first garnered attention with their self-titled debut EP, "Communions EP," released in 2014, which showcased their knack for melodic guitar work and introspective songwriting. The group’s artistic growth was evident in their 2021 album, "Pure Fabrication," a sprawling and ambitious effort that reflects on themes of identity and self-conception through a blend of infectious melodies and philosophical lyricism.
