Ohm Square

Ohm Square is a Czech electronic music band founded in 1996 by Jan Čechtický, Dušan Lipert, and Jan Kleník. Initially, the band focused on genres like drum and bass, trip hop, and breakbeat. Following its formation, the group was joined by British vocalist Charlotte Fairman, and the lineup evolved over time to include jazz pianist Mirek Lacko on live performances. Ohm Square released their debut album *Ohmophonica* in 1997, which was the first officially released electronic dance music album in the Czech Republic and gained significant recognition. The band has continued to evolve, incorporating a range of styles and collaborating on various remixes, as evident from their recent releases.

Currently, Ohm Square primarily consists of Jan Čechtický and Charlotte Fairman, with additional musicians contributing during live performances. Their music has featured in several Czech films, and they have been involved in various cultural projects over the years. Ohm Square's music often blends electronic elements with pop and jazz influences, making them a distinct voice in the Czech music scene.
