Mr. Dero

**Mr. Dero** is a versatile producer and MC rooted in Los Angeles’ underground hip-hop scene, best known for his work with the Project Blowed collective and as one-half of the duo Omid & Dero. Alongside producer Omid, he helped shape the raw, experimental sound of West Coast indie hip-hop in the late ’90s and 2000s. These days, his solo projects blend head-nodding beats, jazzy textures, and collaborations with fellow underground stalwarts like MC Rene and David Sladek. Tracks like “For the Instrumentals” and the Ty-featuring “The Record” highlight his knack for laidback grooves and sharp lyricism, while remixes and contest entries (like the FM4 Remix of “Different”) show he’s still pushing boundaries.
