Timna Brauer

Timna Brauer is a German-Israeli singer and songwriter known for her unique blend of traditional folk music with elements of jazz, world music, and classical. Born in Munich, Germany, to a German mother and an Israeli father, Brauer grew up in a musical household and began singing at a young age. She studied classical singing at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich and later pursued jazz and world music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Brauer's music often explores themes of love, loss, and the human condition, and she has released several critically acclaimed albums, including "Timna Brauer" (1997), "Amutot" (2003), and "Der G'schupfte Ferdl geht Taubenvergiften im Park" (2019).
