S. J. Jananiy

S. J. Jananiy, also known as Subramanian Jaya Jananiy, is a versatile Indian musician with a wide range of talents. She is a film composer, singer-songwriter, and vocalist in Carnatic, Hindustani, and Western Classical music. Jananiy has been active in the music industry since 1996 and has performed over 1,000 stage shows. She is an "A Grade" artist of All India Radio and has received numerous prestigious awards, including the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement in 2001 and the Kalaimamani Award in 2018. Jananiy is also a skilled multi-instrumentalist, playing the keyboard, piano, violin, and veena.

Jananiy's recent work includes scoring music for the Tamil film "Rail," which featured collaborations with the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra. Her music spans various genres, from classical to pop and electronic. She has released numerous albums and singles, including "I'm Flying High," which peaked on the iTunes Alternative Music charts. Jananiy is also a member of the Recording Academy and has won several global honors, including being part of a Grammy-nominated album.
