Johnny Stachela

Johnny Stachela is a highly respected Los Angeles-based guitarist and singer/songwriter, known for his masterful slide guitar skills. Born and raised in LA, Stachela's passion for music began early, inspired by the blues, which remains his true love. He is perhaps best known for his work as a founding member of The Allman Betts Band and Duane Betts & Palmetto Motel. In his career, Stachela has collaborated on stage with notable musicians like Derek Trucks, Slash, and Mike Campbell. Recently, he released the single "County Farm Blues," a cover of a classic folk blues song, and he is set to release a new EP titled "The Stroll" in 2025, featuring another single, "All Because Of You."

Stachela's style is deeply rooted in American Blues, and he emphasizes the emotional connection and feeling that music provides. His musical journey has included tours with The Allman Betts Band and extensive collaboration on projects such as Duane Betts' album "Wild & Precious Life."
