SaxoFOUR is a saxophone quartet that has been making music together for over 25 years. They are known for their joyful and energetic performances, and their repertoire includes a wide range of music, from classical to jazz to pop. SaxoFOUR is made up of four saxophonists: Andreas van Zoelen, Arno Bornkamp, Lars Mlekusch, and Peter Lehel. They all met while studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover, Germany, and they have been playing together ever since. The quartet's name, SaxoFOUR, is a play on the word "saxophone" and the number four, which represents the number of members in the group.
