The Paris Sisters

The Paris Sisters were an American girl group best known for their soft pop sound and close-harmony vocals, featuring the real-life siblings Priscilla, Albeth, and Sherrell Paris. They rose to fame in the early 1960s, particularly with their biggest hit, “I Love How You Love Me,” produced by the legendary Phil Spector in 1961. The single showcased their signature breathy, romantic style and became a Top 10 hit, cementing their place in the era’s pop music scene.

The group’s sound marked a departure from the more upbeat girl group trends of the time, opting instead for lush, string-laden arrangements and emotional balladry. Priscilla Paris took the lead on vocals, delivering tender performances that became the group’s hallmark. Although their popularity waned later in the decade, The Paris Sisters remain influential as one of the early adopters of the girl group formula that would shape pop music for years to come.
