Gavin Friday
Gavin Friday is an Irish singer-songwriter, musician, and actor. He first gained recognition as a member of the post-punk band The Virgin Prunes, which he co-founded in 1977. After the band's dissolution in 1984, Friday embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut album "Each Man Kills the Thing He Loves" in 1989. Known for his distinctive vocals and theatrical performances, Friday's music often explores themes of spirituality, sexuality, and Irish identity. He has collaborated with various artists, including Bono, U2, and Lou Reed, and has also acted in films such as "The Last Temptation of Christ" and "Breakfast on Pluto."
