Tsew The Kid, whose real name is Tsiry Ralaiarisedy, is a French singer, songwriter, and musician of Malagasy origin, born on December 3, 1996, in Paris. Growing up in a family of musicians, he began singing in a gospel choir as a child and taught himself piano and guitar, eventually setting up a home studio in his garage to develop his craft. Initially studying eco-management, he left university to focus entirely on music around age 14, blending alternative rap, R&B, pop, and Malagasy influences into his sound.
Tsew The Kid first gained recognition with his 2018 track "Cigarette" and followed with several EPs such as *Begin*, *Karma*, *Mora Mora*, and *Nous*. In 2019, he signed with Panenka Music and released the mixtape *Diavolana*, followed by his debut album *Ayna* in 2021. His sophomore album, *On finira peut-être heureux* (2023), and the EP *C'était pas à cause de toi* (2024) continued to explore introspective lyrics and a mix of rap and pop melodies. His most recent album *A peine manqué* came out in 2025. Throughout his career, Tsew The Kid has collaborated with prominent artists such as Jok'air, Hatik, and S.Pri Noir, establishing himself as a distinctive voice in French hip-hop and R&B.
