OLEDICKFOGGY is a Japanese rock band known for their energetic and emotive sound. The band's vocalist, Yūkazu Itō, has been at the forefront of their creative endeavors. Recently, OLEDICKFOGGY released their seventh full album, "残夜の汀線 -ZANYA NO TEISEN-" in 2023, marking a significant return after a five-year hiatus since their previous album "Gerato" in 2018. This new album features a fresh lineup with new members, including Ponomi Mitsumi on accordion and keyboard, and Daichi Kagoshima on electric bass, bringing a more vibrant and pop-infused sound to their distinctive style.
OLEDICKFOGGY has also been involved in notable collaborations, such as with the vocalist of the band Tōkyō Kyō Arugorizumu, Satsuki Sasaki. Their collaborative tracks, "一夜に凭れて" and "処方センチメンタル," were released in November 2024. Additionally, Yūkazu Itō has been featured in a documentary alongside author Keita Nishimura, exploring themes of connection and loss. The band continues to tour and perform live, showcasing their dynamic and emotional performances across Japan.
