Derill Pounds is an independent underground emcee and DJ hailing from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with a career spanning over 17 years in the Midwest's independent music scene. Known for his "weird raps" and dynamic live shows, he has helped build a strong network of musicians around him and developed a unique style that blends alternative rap and hip hop, affectionately dubbed "Gloom Bap." His work includes several recent releases like the 2025 album *Midlife Vices Crisis*, singles such as "Stone Cold Getaway" and "Back Strains," and the 2023 album *derekhalfdead*.
