Sacred Reich is an American thrash metal band formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 1985. The band's lineup has changed several times over the years, but the current lineup consists of Phil Rind (vocals, bass), Wiley Arnett (guitar), Jason Rainey (guitar), and Dave McClain (drums). Sacred Reich released their debut album, Ignorance, in 1987, and have since released six more studio albums, the most recent of which is Awakening, released in 2019. The band has toured extensively throughout their career, and has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in metal, including Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth. Sacred Reich is known for their aggressive sound and socially conscious lyrics, which often deal with issues such as war, poverty, and environmental destruction.
