They were later joined by Chris O'Connell on bass in 2011, and Josh Bate on keys and synths, completing the lineup as a four-piece. Their early work includes albums like *Chaotic Love Stories and Irrational Behaviour* and *This State Is Conscious*. The band's music often explores themes of man versus nature and industry, aiming to create a space for listeners to interpret their own narratives. After Josh Bate left the band in 2014, they continued to write new music and tour.
