The Laurels are an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2005, the band consists of Michael Cera, Kieran Culkin, and Shane O'Brien. The band's music has been described as "jangly, melodic, and introspective." They have released four albums, including their most recent, "Plains," which was released in 2019. The Laurels have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and have shared the stage with bands such as The Strokes, The National, and Vampire Weekend.
