Nneka Lucia Egbuna, known mononymously as Nneka, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. Born in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, she moved to Hamburg, Germany, at the age of 19 to pursue a career in music. Nneka's music is a blend of soul, reggae, and hip-hop, with lyrics that often address social and political issues. She has released five studio albums, including "No Longer at Ease" (2005), "Soul Is Heavy" (2008), and "My Fairy Tales" (2015). Nneka has toured extensively throughout Europe, Africa, and North America, and has collaborated with artists such as Nas, Damian Marley, and The Roots.
