Dey Kim is a sound and bio artist from Seoul, South Korea, whose work navigates the space where humans and microbes intersect, using sound as a primary medium to explore these phenomena and imagine new ways of understanding our environments. Over recent years, he has released thought-provoking albums and collaborative tracks, including Chitchat (with Sun Ki Kim), Decoded & Interpreted, and Crosstalk (with Rozi Mákó), each reflecting his experimental approach to music and interdisciplinary practice.
As a composer, improviser, and transdisciplinary artist, Dey Kim has performed and exhibited widely, participating in festivals and art spaces across Korea such as the Jeonju International Sori Festival, Art Bunker B39, and In The House, Seoul, consistently pushing boundaries in contemporary sound art and electronic music.
