Rudi Schwamborn, better known by his stage name Carlprit, is a German-Zimbabwean rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born on May 20, 1986 in Harare, Zimbabwe, Carlprit later moved to Germany where he kickstarted his music career. He first gained international recognition for his feature on Cascada's 2009 hit single "Evacuate the Dancefloor," which reached the top 20 on the U.S. Billboard charts. This made Carlprit the first person of Zimbabwean origin to have a song in the top U.S. Billboard charts.
Carlprit's music primarily falls into the dance and electronic genres. He's known for his energetic performances and has collaborated with various artists in the EDM scene.
