Simon J Karis is an experimental electronic musician from Melbourne, Australia. His music is a blend of ambient, techno, and industrial sounds, often incorporating field recordings and found sounds. Karis has released a number of albums and EPs on various labels, including his own imprint, SJK Recordings. He has also collaborated with a number of other musicians, including Oren Ambarchi, Lawrence English, and Fennesz.
