Devil in a Woodpile is a four-piece indie rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. The band was formed in 2016 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Matt Bachmann, bassist and vocalist Katie Crutchfield, drummer and vocalist John Crutchfield, and guitarist and vocalist Alex Crutchfield. The band's sound has been described as a mix of indie rock, folk, and country, with influences from artists such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Neil Young. Devil in a Woodpile has released two albums, "In Your Lonesome Town" (2018) and "Division Street" (2020), and has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe.
