Radical Retard

Radical Retard is a Dutch hardcore punk/crossover band from the late 20th century, specifically from Amerongen and Wijk bij Duurstede. The band was formed in 1987 and is known for performing primarily in English. One of their notable achievements was winning the "Kleine prijs van Utrecht." The band's lineup includes Mike Robinson on vocals, Thijs Griepink and Daniël Kragten on guitar, Jan van Meerten on bass, and Bas "The Ghost" de Geest on drums. Over the years, Radical Retard has released several works, including demos like "Radical Retard" (1991), "Sometimes" (1992), and albums such as "Once I Woke Up" (1993) and more recently "Time Flies" (2024). They have also released singles like "Johnny the Fly" and "Battle Against the Acne" in 2024, showcasing their continued activity in the music scene.
