Mamarudegyal MTHC, born Diana Hellson, is an Afro-Indigenous interdisciplinary artist and music industry professional. She is a proud member of the Siksika Nation and was born in Calgary, Alberta. Mamarudegyal MTHC is known for her work in the hip-hop and film industries, based in Vancouver, BC. She began her creative journey at a young age, exploring various arts such as dance, music, and film, often supported by her mother, who was active in the Indigenous arts community. Her career has included significant milestones, such as founding Rudegang Entertainment in 2014, which serves as a resource for marginalized artists. She has won several awards, including two Fraser Valley Music Awards and the Shindig Battle of the Bands. Recently, she was awarded the 2024 TD Indigenous Songwriter Award for her contributions to music.

Mamarudegyal MTHC's music often addresses social issues and disparities, reflecting her commitment to empowering marginalized voices. Her recent releases include the album "ABREACTION" and the music video for "Pogo." She has also been involved in documentary filmmaking, such as "The Foundation: Indigenous Hip Hop in Canada," which explores the rise of Indigenous hip-hop. Through her work, she continues to bridge cultural gaps and advocate for social justice, using her platform to highlight the shared struggles and solidarity between Black and Indigenous communities.
