Big Nuz is a trailblazing South African electronic music trio from Durban, celebrated as pioneers of the gritty, bass-heavy "Durban Gqom" sound that dominated dancefloors in the 2010s. Formed in the early 2000s, the group—originally consisting of Mzi Tshomo, Sbu Khomo, and Mandla "Mampintsha" Maphumulo—became synonymous with raw, streetwise anthems blending kwaito, house, and Afro-tech.
