Michael League
Michael League is a bassist, composer, and bandleader best known for his work with the jazz fusion group Snarky Puppy. Born in 1983 in Los Angeles, California, League began playing bass at a young age and quickly developed a reputation as a prodigious talent. He studied at the University of North Texas and Berklee College of Music before forming Snarky Puppy in 2004. The band has since released over a dozen albums and won four Grammy Awards, establishing League as one of the most respected and innovative bassists in contemporary jazz.
