Yama Buddha

Yama Buddha, born Anil Adhikari, was a trailblazing Nepali rapper who played a pivotal role in shaping the hip-hop scene in Nepal. Emerging as one of the most influential voices in the genre, he was best known for his raw and socially conscious lyrics, which touched on issues like poverty, drug addiction, and social inequality. His popular tracks like "Saathi," "Yo Prasanga," and "Aama" struck a deep chord with listeners, making him a beloved figure among fans of Nepali music.

Yama Buddha also made a mark through his work on the television show "Raw Barz," a rap battle series that gave a platform to budding Nepali rappers and helped elevate the local hip-hop community.
