Lomor

Lomor is a killer **old-school thrash metal power trio** hailing from **Reunion Island**, that French overseas spot in the Indian Ocean, formed around 2018-2019 by **Eric Castelnau** on vocals and guitars, **Gurvan Cambrai** (aka Typhvs) on drums, and **Mathieu "Micha" Michalina** on bass. Drawing heavy inspiration from legends like **Slayer**, **Testament**, **Kreator**, and a dash of punk and metalcore grit, these guys kicked off with their first single "**Kanyar L’Enfer**" in 2021, followed by a bunch of local gigs on epic island stages, even opening for heavyweights like **Mass Hysteria**.

They dropped their debut album **Perseverance of Sickness** in December 2022—mixed by Sébastien Camhi and mastered by Kai Stahlenberg—packing raw, fast riffs with social edge and Creole flavor, and they've been tearing it up with tours like the Kanyar Tour across France. Now, they're unleashing their second beast, **Sabouk Rouge** (out Feb 2026 via Rockshots Records), diving into the island's brutal slavery history with tracks like "**Panzram**," "**La Haine**," and a nod to Eric's old band via the cover "**Kit' Ta Mère**"—all served up feral, no-frills, and ready to mosh.
