Cash & Skye

Cash & Skye is a Los Angeles-based duo composed of Henri Cash and Sophia Skye. Henri Cash is a guitarist and founding member of the L.A. rock band Starcrawler, while Sophia Skye is the daughter of Rilo Kiley bassist Pierre de Reeder. The duo began writing and recording music together in 2017, bonding over their shared love of classic country and rock 'n' roll. Their music often blends elements of Americana and rock with a punk-rock ethos, reflecting their diverse musical influences. Cash & Skye have released several notable tracks, including "No More Candy" and "Pasadena Girls," which showcase their unique sound and storytelling style.

Their debut full-length album, *Just A Stranger*, marks a significant milestone in their musical journey, which spans almost seven years of casual songwriting and recording. The album captures the duo's growth and exploration of different recording techniques, blending modern methods with classic analog tape recording to create a sound that stays true to their influences. Despite their differing backgrounds—Henri's work with Starcrawler and Sophia's roots in Rilo Kiley—the duo's collaboration results in a distinctive blend of raw, honest music with deep storytelling roots.
