Grupo Ofa

Grupo Ofa is a Brazilian musical group that specializes in Candomblé music, a genre of Afro-Brazilian religious music. The group was founded in 1998 by percussionist and singer Mestre Didi, and has since released several albums and toured extensively throughout Brazil and internationally. Grupo Ofa's music is characterized by its use of traditional Candomblé instruments, such as the atabaque, agogô, and berimbau, as well as its incorporation of elements from other Brazilian musical genres, such as samba and reggae. The group's lyrics often explore themes of Candomblé spirituality, African history, and social justice.
