Star Fucking Hipsters

Star Fucking Hipsters (often stylized with asterisks) were a raucous punk collective formed in 2006 by Scott "Stza" Sturgeon (of Leftöver Crack/Choking Victim) and bassist Nico de Gaillo. Known for their chaotic blend of ska-punk, crust, and anarcho-punk, the band’s lineup evolved over the years but kept its rebellious spirit intact, tackling themes like anti-capitalism, police brutality, and societal decay with unapologetic fury. Their discography includes rowdy albums like *Never Rest in Peace* (2008) and *From the Dumpster to the Grave* (2010), packed with raw energy and collaborative shout-alongs featuring punk-scene friends. Though the group dissolved around 2013, their music remains a gritty time capsule of 2000s DIY punk activism.
