Danger Zone is an Italian hard rock band founded by guitarist Roberto Priori in the early 1980s. Initially, they recorded demos and underwent lineup changes before releasing their debut LP, "Victim Of Time," in 1984. The band gained significant attention in Italy through live performances and festivals, including a notable opening act for heavy metal legends Saxon. In 1988, they received a production deal with the goal of breaking into the US market, which led to recording sessions for "Line Of Fire," although the album was initially shelved. Over time, it achieved cult status and was eventually released in 2011. Danger Zone reunited in 2010, releasing "Undying" in 2012 and "Closer To Heaven" in 2016, which received high acclaim and is considered one of their best works. They have also released "Don't Count on Heroes" in 2019, further solidifying their melodic hard rock sound.
The band's recent discography includes several notable releases such as "Shut Up!", "I Don't Care", and "Evil", showcasing their evolving style within the hard rock genre. Danger Zone continues to perform and create music, maintaining a strong presence in the music scene, especially within the hard rock and AOR communities. Their blend of classic influences with modern production has allowed them to connect with a wide audience across multiple generations.
