Neev is a Glasgow-raised, London-based indie-folk singer-songwriter known for her intricate storytelling and evocative vocal style. She first came onto the music scene in 2019 with her debut single "Burning To Dust" and has since built a dedicated following with her deeply personal lyrics and a musical style that blends modern folk with cinematic and alternative indie influences. Neev’s debut album *Katherine* and her more recent work, including the 2025 album *How Things Tie in Knots*, showcase her talent for weaving themes of identity, self-exploration, and emotional complexity into lush, textured soundscapes. Her music often balances contrasts such as tradition versus progression and softness against intensity, gaining her comparisons to artists like Weyes Blood and Agnes Obel. Neev is notable for her hands-on approach in production, having engineered and produced much of her music herself, supported by an all-female production team on her latest album.
