Glenn Medeiros

Glenn Medeiros is an American singer-songwriter of Portuguese and Puerto Rican descent, who first found fame in the late 1980's with the hit ballad "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You". Born on June 24, 1970, in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii, Medeiros's rise to stardom was a tale of determination and talent discovered by chance. He won a local radio talent contest in Hawaii, which led to the recording of "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You", a song that would achieve international success and become a staple slow dance favorite at proms and weddings around the world.

Glenn's career has been marked by both his soothing voice and his ability to blend pop with touches of his Hawaiian roots, showcased in albums such as "Sweet Island Music". Over the years, he has shown versatility, evidenced by tracks like "Senorita" featuring Pete Escovedo that introduce Latin flavors into his repertoire. "The Glenn Medeiros Christmas Album" captures his warm vocal style in a festive context, while albums like "It's Alright To Love" and singles such as "The Last Time" continue to prove his ability as a romantic crooner. Despite his initial fame as a singer, Glenn Medeiros has also made a significant impact as an educator, moving away from the music industry in the 2000s to focus on his career in academic administration while still occasionally performing. His legacy in music, however, endures through his heartfelt recordings and the timeless nature of his early hits.
