Peter Grünberg is a Sydney-born pianist, conductor, and musical authority with an international career spanning nearly 30 years. He began his professional journey in Europe and was appointed Head Coach and Assistant Conductor at the Grand Théâtre de Genève at just 21 years old. Later, he served as Resident Conductor of the Sydney Symphony and Head of Music Staff at the San Francisco Opera. He also collaborated extensively with the San Francisco Symphony, working closely with conductor Michael Tilson Thomas as a musical assistant and contributing to several Grammy-winning recordings.
Peter is highly regarded for his work as a recitalist and chamber musician, collaborating with renowned artists such as Frederica von Stade, Thomas Hampson, and Joshua Bell. He has performed at prestigious venues including the Moscow Conservatory, Grand Théâtre de Genève, and Sydney Opera House, and appeared at festivals like Aix-en-Provence, Salzburg, and Tanglewood. He actively supports young artists worldwide and continues to perform regularly, including recent projects with lyric soprano Esther Rayo on Spanish-language classical song repertoire, culminating in the 2025 album "Estrellita".
